News: Announcing Station's New Direction
Because of the relative lack of interest in the station's current format, we'll be taking things in a new direction that will serve members of the Israeli Defense Force squad of tactical PC gamers. This means that we'll be dumping some of the more objectionable music, while retaining the music with lyrics that are universally appealing and adding music of a Jewish and Israeli flavor. In appealing to a more general audience, the number of listeners has not been what we had hoped for or what Live365 had implied we might expect. So, if this is not to be a profit-making venture, we will be focusing this station's attention on an audience more aligned with existing leisure-time projects. So far, our guest artists have produced works sufficiently decent as to continue being featured on this station's playlists.

News: Soldner: Worth a Second Chance
I received a Soldner community e-mail from SSW-Academy, the new Soldner community representative. He had this to say:You were interested in Soldner and maybe left it because there were several bugs? Because of this it's up to us (the community) to show you (as one of over 17,300 community members) that many things have been changed and modified!Do you think Soldner is still buggy?
Do you think Soldner still has the crashes to desktop of the release version?
Do you think Soldner still has problems with hardware compatibility? (e.g., joysticks)
Do you think Soldner was a good idea with an awful realisation? ABSOLUTELY WRONG ... THAT WAS THE PAST!All this belongs to history. Wings worked hard together with the community and changed many details to make Soldner the game you (we) always wanted! Here are some changes: all sounds recorded new (birds, water, wind, weapons...)
new graphic effects (infra-red vision, nightvision...)
new weapon ballistics (sniper, rocket launcher...)
airstrike function
advanced score system
new weapon systems (laser-guided bombs, camera-guided rockets)
new netcode (works fine with 50 players!)
new kits (scout kit, scuba kit...)
new maps (desert, coast...) With the new Addon (Soldner Marine Corps) you will be able to buy many new vehicles, weapons... especially European equipment (Leopard, Challenger, Leclerc). A new way to challenge your opponents is also opened: the way through the water! Now you can transport your troops with boats or fight with some scout boats equipped with gatling guns. Without the addon but with the new patch you are able to test the new
weapons but you can't buy them at the terminals (someone else has to buy them for you!). So Wings is the first developer who will make all players (addon and non-addon) able to play together! If you are interested in all the new features and possibilities, just
download the latest patch and give Soldner another try. We (the community) wish to present you the new Soldner experience and we are no longer on our own! Several game magazines (especially the ones who give Soldner bad marks) tested the new addon and patch and have given them
ratings of about 80 percent and more! PC Action: "Respect! I like the infantry fights in the woods and especially the tank battles on the desert maps. No bugs, advanced menusystem, more weapons and good maps make Soldner the game it should have always been! A funny multi-player game! We recommend this game to all multiplayer-shooter-fans. This buy will [pay for itself] itself! (80%)" To convince you, we will show you what some old Soldner players of the first days think about the new Soldner. Here are some comments made by reactivated players: Deadman: "yeah I'm back and can only say Soldner will really rock NOW! I play regularly from now on and have a lot of fun!"[A-Team]Ridcully: "Wow! Like this Soldner should ever be and I wished it would be! There were some bugs, but every Online-shooter has some. A good match requires skill and luck and it will do a lot of fun!" =FPC=Sonic: "My first impression of the addon was very positive, now many details looks finished and no longer half-made like before. This [is the] way the release version should have been!" mystaka: "this is the best Soldner patch of all time, the most important aspect is, that there are no more lags. Before it was impossible for me to play the game! It's like an absolutely new game." So, please, help us and do yourself a favour, install Soldner again and download the latest patch! Like we say, we are the community, we won't lie to you! This mail was made by us for YOU! Take a look at the UKW Soldner Marine Corps Video (approx. 60 Meg .zip, extract to approx. 90 Meg Windows Media Video) to see what you are waiting for. WILL YOU GIVE SOLDNER A SECOND CHANCE? EVERYONE SHOULD GET A SECOND CHANCE!!! See you soon on one of the Soldner servers! Greetz,
SSW-Academy (Mail written by White-One, Gerdilein!)

Shows: Testosterone Fest Shows Draw from Larger Pool
The Testosterone Fest shows now draw from a larger pool of tracks, about 14 hours worth.Be sure to give each song the Thumbs-Up or Thumbs-Down, as it will greatly affect the song's ranking in the upcoming Top 20 show.

Artists: Caroline Lost Added to Playlists
If you missed the update, Caroline Lost has been uploaded to our playlists. We'll be adding another really good track, "Barely Breathing", as soon as we get it. It looks like the track might have been featured in the Christian Henson movie, "Chasing Liberty", in which another Caroline Lost song, "To Be With You", is featured, from what I hear. We've been e-mailing back-and-forth with her, trying to get permission to play her music, requesting a nice pic (below) to show off, and trying to locate the aforementioned memorable track. Caroline seems like a friendly, down-to-earth person. She's said that she has a CD on the way, so when it comes out, you might want to help this great lady show the wannabe's how it's done by picking up an extra copy and asking your local radio stations to spin it.
'Sup? Uzi, here. We've got some ideas for future shows that we'll add to the line-up. One possibility is a Top 20 show, with ratings based on your having given each track the thumbs-up or thumbs-down.We'll definitely be adding a Review/Historical show on the History of the Tactical First-Person Shooter. In it, we'll cover the history of and comment on some of the landmark tactical FPS's in PC gaming history.

Shows: New All-Female EstroGeneration Show
We've added a new show called "EstroGeneration" for our GrrlGamr listeners. (Apparently, we're not the only one to have coined this term... and we thought we were being clever.)EstroGeneration will offer nothing but songs performed by females.

News: Possibly No New News, Today
We may not post new news, today, after all. We've been working on the playlists, trying to increase the variety for your ears.Big news these days is that the Sony PSP is in stores. Looks like the bee's knees, but possibly easy to break if you should happen to drop it. The Ghost Recon 2 downloadable content pack #2 is also out. Lots of sweetness added to that title, so if you've got GR2 and are subscribed to X-Box Live!, you'll want to grab that update.

Shows: Adrenaline Rush Shows Draw from Larger Pool
The Adrenaline Rush shows now also draw from a pool of songs that totals almost 12 hours in play.If there's a song during those shows that doesn't get your blood pumping, send us some feedback to have it killed. We'll find our rusty knives.
